Nothing is fried - if we can’t bake it, we don’t make it. Our menu consists of home-made pizza, Stromboli, calzones and desserts. Our motto has always been “keep it simple”. We design, build and decorate each of our restaurants with Boston's North End look in mind, the well-known Italian part of Boston. Our restaurants can accommodate larger groups, but still have that atmosphere of coziness we strive for. The second part of our mission has always been to create a welcoming and pleasant environment and we design our restaurants with this goal in mind. We cook at high temperatures to ensure proper crust characteristics and flavors. Our dough is made from a specialized flour that we deliver from the East Coast, our tomato sauce is made from the best San Marzano tomatoes, our mozzarella is the same that is used in New York City pizzerias and comes from a small farm in Wisconsin and our ingredients are always of the highest quality. Our pizza elements are made from “scratch” using our home recipes. After several initial months of trials, we succeeded in our goal. She simply wanted a cheese pizza so we ordered her a personal size for her very own. I had heard good things about their pizzas so I was excited to give it a try. So we pulled over, put in directions for the closest pizza joint, and ended up at Toss & Fire Pizza. With ties to the East Coast and Europe, one part of our overall goal from the beginning has been to bring a new product to our hometown that would draw inspiration in its creation from both of these parts of the world. It was a pre-birthday celebration and she wanted pizza. We have recently opened our second restaurant, House of Fire Pizza - East, on 3/19/21. What began as a “what if” conversation over a glass of wine in September of 2017 eventually, after several months of dedication and passion, led to a friendly, all-welcoming restaurant, House of Fire Pizza - West, whose doors opened January 11th 2019. House of Fire Pizza Restaurant is the product of friendship between two Fairbanks families, one a relative newcomer, the other a well-established old-timer.
